This journal is friends-only. Sorry. Comment to be added. Generally speaking, I'll want to know how you know me before I add you, but I'm not terribly picky about such things.

Umm...I'm an English teacher (almost), and I love my city. If I left it, I'd want to go to London. Or Edinburgh. Trade one rainy city for another.

I love traveling, and will readily admit that having summers and Christmases free for travel was a big draw to the teaching profession for me.

I read a lot. I write less. And I tend to geek out over language in general.

I'm also a fangirl. Not a rabid one. (I don't think.) But still a fangirl.

I'm kind of a grammar nazi. (This would be another great draw to the teaching profession. Catch 'em while they're young.) I try to be laid back about it, but I sometimes slip. That said, if you don't mind me occasionally correcting you, I don't mind dealing with poor grammar (though I dislike wading through copious errors).
